They told me to return the 140mm to the retailer even though I didn't have a good justification for returning it since there was nothing wrong with the fan.Ableton Live 11 is out, talk about it here. Their support wasn't helpful, they reiterated that the PSU shroud only takes a 120mm fan and never said they would fix the mistake in the manual. Since I bought both the case and the fans from be quiet, I figured it would be easy for them to do an exchange for a 120mm fan since I had no use for the extra 140mm fan.

It turned out that there's a mistake on that page of the manual and the PSU shroud mount can only take a 120mm. To improve the temperature within the case, I used the "fan compatibility" page from the manual to order "be quiet !"140mm fans for all the available mount points. Overall Review: I chose this case because I value silence, but I was also wary of compromising the temperature of the components. Fan compatibility section in the manual has a mistake (PSU shroud does not support 140mm fan) Pros: - Looks great, especially with the orange accentsĬons: - Lackluster manual (they chose to use more pictures than text) I like what case mfgs have done since there's no further need for DVD drives up front, minus the RGB eyesores. I think I'm happier with this case than any other case I have purchased in the last 20 years.

I bought this case to help reduce the ridiculous blower fan noise on my Vega 56 (never again). I have them running at around 1300 RPM (max is 1500) and it's only a hum.īecause I have more airflow coming into the case due to the three 120mm case fans and only one 120mm exhaust case fan, there's hardly any dust after 6 months (bought in Feb 2019). I bought two Noctua NF-A14 PWM (static pressure) and have all three fans sitting up front to ensure that I get good airflow.

It's also in my living room, so I'm trying to have it as discrete as possible. Kind of a pain to pull out and remove though. The case is currently between my desk and the wall, so I can't see it anyway. Would like some optional sound proofing covers for the back since it's the only weakspot Would prefer for the manual to have more instructions and diagrams Not entirely clear how the case fan would be installed up top The sound dampening is ridiculous.Ĭons: (my cons are really not that big of a deal and I feel I'm overly nitpicking)ĭoesn't allow me to remove the bottom shroud over the PSU
